Swatchrokorn Wannasorn is a Thai-Shan artist whose work is deeply inspired by mythology, folklore, natural phenomena, and the rich legends of his hometown in northern Thailand. His practice explores the complex coexistence of humans and other entities and beings often seen as separate or "other" by mainstream culture. Driven by curiosity, Swatchrokorn seeks to understand and reinterpret these relationships, creating new imagery that taps into our collective consciousness. Through his work, he aspires to foster a deeper sense of unity and shared humanity.
